I can confirm this. This bug is extremely annoying and makes KAddressbook
almost unusable for me. A real productivity killer!

I, too, confirm this issue.
I had to patch and build all of kdebase in order to be able to log into my
workstation again. Not a nice experience.
For what it's worth, the patch contributed by Paul Brook doesn't apply
directly because the bug is actually in a file added through a Debian-
specif
This issue is known upstream (see bug's "forwarded" info).
A work-around (that's acceptable at least to me) seems to be to disable
the KDE Wallet system entirely (KDE Control Center -> Security & Privacy
-> KDE Wallet -> Wallet Preferences -> Enable the KDE wallet subsystem :=
OFF).

When I select a theme, tileset, background, or layout, KMahjongg does
not save my selection and returns to the defaults when I close and
restart the program. Thus I always have to choose my preferred
background and tileset manually when start
Since my last KDE-related package upgrade or so, kicker doesn't crash any
longer on every first login after bootup. I'm currently running version
4:3.2.2-1 of kicker. My guess is that upgrading some kdelibs packages
made the problem go away, but I can't say for sure.

Kicker (the panel) crashes when I login, but mostly just on the first
login after the machine has booted. And even then, it only crashes in
about 80% of the times.
I think this happens since I last upgraded my KDE packages to 3.2.2.
