I have some build failures of ovito-package on arm platforms [1].
Upstream-author answered, that it is probably due to "-opengl es2",
which is set for those archs and ovito requires "desktop" version
of Qt5.
Are there reasons, why those flags are used for arm platforms?

after discussing this issue with both upstreams (step and eigen3)
and fixing an issue in eigen3, I have prepared the patch, which
builds step against eigen3 version, which is in unstable already.
Please, apply it ASAP to finish eigen3 transition.

As I understand, the only reason to have an arch-dependent package is
to get logs
and report them later to upstream. The possible solution (quick and
dirty) is to make a 2 uploads:
1) arch-dependent to test the package and get logs;
2) arch-indep to have it for normal use.
