found 569284 4:4.4.3-2 thanks I just tested with the new KDE version in testing, and kmix is still not able to adjust the sound on a LTSP thin client. alsamixer work, and show one volume control. But for GUI users, alsamixer is not really a good alternative to present. Happy hacking, -- Petter
