Bug#287097: Experimental kdelibs-data conflicts with Sarge openoffice.org-mimelnk

2004-12-25 Thread Nick Leverton
The openoffice.org-mimelnk from Sid doesn't conflict. It might suffice to push that version into Sarge, if KDE3.3 goes in (which I hope ! :-))

Bug#287201: KIOSlave FTP client can be made to send email

2004-12-25 Thread Ian Gulliver
Package: kdelibs Version: 3.2.3-2 Severity: grave The KIOSlave FTP client is vulnerable to the same exploit as Internet Explorer: http://lists.netsys.com/pipermail/full-disclosure/2004-December/030229.html Anything that can pass an FTP URL to it, i.e. a malicious website viewed in Konqueror, can

Bug#221442: IMAP system has changed in 3.3

2004-12-25 Thread Anders Ellenshøj Andersen
IMAP was implemented as an IO-Slave in at least since 3.3. It is effectively a new implementation, to which I don't think this bug applies. I have never had a crash with IMAP and I have used it since 3.3 was released. Kind Regards Anders E. Andersen

Bug#143478: Encryption system was replaced in KDE3.3

2004-12-25 Thread Anders Ellenshøj Andersen
Because of new encryption interfaces in kde, I am not sure if this still applies. The fact that KMail blocks on any external action, be it pop3 transfers or external filter commands is a know issue. It is registered in kde bug tracking as bug #41514. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41514

Re: Bug#287175: korganizer: keeps asking login/password dialog on remote calendar

2004-12-25 Thread Pierre Habouzit
please note that kdepim 3.3.2 is still NOT in experimental and that you are using korganizer 3.3.1 with kdelibs/base 3.3.2 so maybe the problem comes from here. please tell us if it's still here when kdepim will be 3.3.2 in experimental too. (should be in a couple of days) -- Pierre Habouzit
