The reviewed templates will be sent on Friday, February 13, 2009 to the package
maintainer as a bug report and a mail will be sent to this list with
"[BTS]" as a subject tag.

This bug is not a bug but seems a misconfigutration.
This is easy to be reproduced:
./crafty
unable to open book file [./book.bin].
book is disabled
unable to open book file [./books.bin].
hash table memory = 12M bytes.
pawn hash table memory =2M b
Indeed it seems the issue comes from the crafty book.bin & book.bin packages.
On the official ftp site (ftp://ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt/)
those files date back to 30/1/2007. At that time the latest stable
version of crafty was 21.6, which is higher than the 20.17 version the
error mesage complains
