My recent upload of a new revision and subsequent build attempts have
exposed what looks like the same bug on s390x as well as some other
big-endian non-release architectures.

control: fixed -1 4.10-1~exp1
As of 4.10, the plannif_printf function in sispm_ctl.c contains the
following loop:
for (i=bufindex; i < 0x27; i += 2) {
buffer[i] = 0xFF;
buffer[i + 1] = 0x3F;
}
Therefore, it appears to me that the bug does not apply to that version.

As of version 4.10 (which I uploadeed to experimental today) the whole
extras/ subdirectory which contains gemplug is gone.

Indeed, sorry about that. I have just uploaded a fix.

Hi,
the upstream git repository contains two commits
(98f5f22f91f02821be1604bbce61efb45f7e3696,
3fc1d6ac863cfb596e8e9263e03871aec8c00d22) by Jarbel Weyrich that can be
cleanly applied onto 0.80-3. I have just verified that the package
builds fine with OpenSSL 1.1 with those
om .h files
* Use printf macros, thanks to Laurent Vivier for his patch (Closes:
#548257)
