About memtest86 package I suppose it is no longer supported because
version 5 and newer are proprietary and there is no new work ups

today on the tests for 5.31b+dfsg-3 I saw that iso is working on cd but
not on usb, looking at www.memtest.org "Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO" is
the same but "Auto-installer for USB Key (Win 7/8/10)" produce a

small patch that make the iso with xorriso instead of cdrkit and a
working change to make build repr

of regression.
The previous version was of years before and I suppose was ok because
built with older gcc, with newer gcc I saw some issue and was solved in
