No change, no. But I'm using my own wallpaper images, not the ones
from desktop-base, so I wouldn't expect it to matter.

When I restarted X today, the gnome-settings-daemon didn't restore my
wallpaper. I attempted to set new wallpaper with gnome-control-center,
but nothing doing. All I get is the background color.
