Hi, I reproduced this with doxygen 1.8.13 while packaging libexosip2 and with the test case attached to the upstream bug. The good news is that with doxygen 1.8.14 and later the issue is gone. @biebl, I wanted to test it with libdaemon as you originally reported, but I can't really reproduce it
