Thanks, this is consistent with the information given on the xzgv qa

#x27;d be willing to absorb
the xchat userbase.
As far as I can tell you can't migrate your configure copy&paste
style, so we kind of force everyone to migrate to a fork and reconfigure.
Obviously I personally think that's the best way forward but I'm not sure
if that's the case for everyone. I've always mixed feelings when we force
something on the user base even if it's with good intentions.
Sven
a forced migration with
a very manual migration path? I also don't find the idea very appealing to
carry around dead softare when we have an actively maintained alternative
available.
I really regret that I NMUed the TLS fix last year, otherwise one could've
killed xchat along with SSLv3. But then again someone else might have NMUed that
one in the same way I did.

In the VCS field on https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/$package there are
three new links labeled changelog_distribution, changelog_version and
package_version. Unfortunately they are all 404 compliant.
vcswatch by clicking the "Scan now" button didn't fix the
issue.
I observered the same flaw with other packages in the past, vanishing
eventually for unknown reasons.
Any idea what's going wrong here?

The same meanwhile happened to the exifprobe package, no complains from
vcswatch anymore.

What is missing to make the migration happen?
