Is passivetex still being maintained?

'passivetex' hasn't been uploaded since 2004, has two RC bugs, and has been removed from 'testing'. The maintainer is listed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] If it's not being maintained, I intend to request removal of the package from unstable. The most recent version of the package is present in 'stable',
