I will test this on a couple of boxes tonight. 3.0.8 fails on these two
boxes I will be testing on. (Dell laptop, and Dell Dimension 8100)

I've tried the install on the Dell laptop. A Dell Latitude, PIII 750MHz,
256MB, 3Com 3c575CT network pcmcia card.
