Please don't crosspost to so many lists. Follow-ups set to the bug report. You should most definately have more than the ramdisk driver in /proc/devices. I also run devfs & lvm and have this in /proc/devices: Block devices: 1 ramdisk 3 ide0 7 loop 8 sd 9 md 11 sr 22 ide1 58 lvm 65 sd
