If you're volunteering to take over and maintain the package, you're
welcome to do so - not much point in "orphaning" it if noone's going
to pick it up, but if you are, I'd be happy to approve handing it over
to you.
Why is 116063 on the release-critical bugs list? I was walking through
the list looking for things to help out with... but blender is in
non-free, and therefore not *in* the release, so by definition isn't
release critical, even if it is grave... as is also true with half a
dozen others on that pag
