I've pushed to Salsa a few patches to have dput-ng work with Python 3.
Currently in the Git, there's a python3-dput package that conflicts with
python-dput, and the dput-ng package depends on one or the other. I
tried uploading with both versions, and also a "dcut dm" command, and it
did work

after some discussions on https://bugs.debian.org/883529, Martin Borgert
suggested that buildbot becomes maintained by the Python Applications
Packaging Team.
That sounds like a good thing to have more than one person able to work
on this package.

Because there wasn't a reasonable entity to attribute the change to. I
didn't review them (mostly).
And it was another source of potential failure during the migration.
