experience with Mailman2 and I can't tell whether Mailman3
has the same features.
Thanks for asking. I hope it makes more sense now.

r, I will take it under consideration
before we plan the migration of alioth-lists to Mailman3.
FWIW, I think if would be great to have a comparison between
Discourse and Mailman3 for Debian. If anybody with strong
Mailman3 experience would like to share some insights, it would
be really appreciat
service since Mailman2 will be
eventually unmaintainable. If the user experience also improves
with Mailman3 would be great, but I think that this is not our
(alioth-lists admins) main goal. Our main goal is alioth-lists
service continuity.
Cheers,
Alex

rative improvements and I fully support your
approach. Though I can understand that there are some concerns
in the long term, I'm totally up for small improvements even
if those end up making a longer path.
Sorry for not sharing this earlier and support your initiative.
Cheers!

Fully agreed.
I can't but wonder how many contributions are being silenced or
discarded for similar reasons.

hey take way too much responsibility for no visible
benefit for Debian.
First Daniel/Norbert issue, now this, it all leaves very unpleasant
feeling. This is the last mail from me about this topic.
Best,
Alex
Hi,
I know my emails could be coming off as harassment due to my persistence.
But I have nothing but good intentions.

YAPC::EU talk on downstream distributions
=
Alex proposed that he present a talk at the next YAPC::EU on the
topic of downstream distribution aimed at CPAN authors, which has
was noted that many of the HTML docs on pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org
should be reviewed.
* All ancient ones (everything not touched since 2011) were removed.
* The autopkgtest docs were improved, with some notes and a new section
about setting up schroot by Alex.

Even as the globalnoticed solicitations for donations die out on OPN, I
think it can still safely be said that the original problem still exists.
Namely, lilo himself.
In short, part of this following log is his response to Joseph Carter's
message to debian-project.
