my recent experience updating my woody to KDE 3.1.2
added in /etc/apt/sources.list the row
deb hhtp://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.2/Debian stable main
then the command:
#apt-get update
then:
#apt-get dist-upgrade
done

I use a summary of version "testing" and "unstable".
When I do an apt-get update, upgrade or dist-upgrade it seems, thta Debian
looks twice for the packages.
In the sources-list of apt I put both entries: one link for testing, one link
for unst
