question on upgrading

hello, i have debian 2.2r2 and i heard something about if i run apt overnight, in the morning i will have a complete debian 2.2r5 installation or something. Can anyone give me any information on this? Also, ever since i sent an email to debian-project@lists.debian.org i started gettign like

I have no idea when Debian Woody will be released, please be aware that unofficial CD-images are available. Its set of 8 CDs, of about 610-620MB for the first 6, and about 200MB for the remaining two. MITP (in germany) has done a book with Potato in it. Given that on first sight, other linux dist
