Package: sane-airscan
Version: 0.99.12-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
While reviewing an upload of sane-airscan to the Ubuntu NEW queue I
discovered the http_parser.{c,h} files are (C) Joylent, Inc under the
Expat licence, and neither Joylent nor the Expat licence are mentioned
in debian
10-6+deb10u2_amd64.deb

It looks to me like the packages are already listed in buster/main.
James
On 7/15
/cups/cups_2.2.10-6+deb10u2_amd64.deb
But I found in the directory on deb.debian.org that all of these exist
with “deb10u3”, instead of “deb10u2”.
How can I fix this / what’s to be done about it?
Thanks,
James Weigle

Is there any update on getting a new version uploaded to Debian?
Cheers,
time, anyone looks ast the code and thinks that something
can be merged or thst one set of code could be improved by incorporating
something from the other set, they need to know the legal limitations.
I never said “don't do it”; just “take care”.

ch derrives from Daniel's, since the
licenses are incompatible. (GPL2 vs Apache2).
(As mentor, I advised Daniel that the licence should be compatible with
cups. He refused.)

Hi,
I have been living with broken duplex printing problems on linux with HP
printers for a number of years now. I used to be able to fix it by
reverting from the hpcups driver to the hpijs driver. But in the last
few months I the problems now appear in both drivers. My systems are
Ubuntu 14.

A
ups-filters pacakge, that won't help.
Ubuntu pushed a change into that package upstream which limits all
output of the pdftops filter to LanguageLevel2 (or lower) due to a
bug with one HP printer. Which breaks the filter for everyone else.
See the comment in the src.

t there.
I'm subscribed to the cairo-bugs list, but I do not remember seeing such
reports. Or maybe I thought there were fixed and this were something else?
I'll look for them.
TK> This bug report should be moved to Cairo.
A DD needs to do that, yes?

his aspect of the bug is in cairo or in
how gecko calls cairo.
(I also should note that I do not have a deb box on which I can test
this; my debs are all headless. My GUI tests are all done on Gentoo.
YMMV.)

Hi,
As instructed by printconf, I'm submitting information for a printer it
couldn't automatically configure:
OKI MB451
OKI DATA CORP
MB451
The printer is an Oki MB451; it supports Postscript and PCL.

Documentation claims that ghostscript-x provides virtual package gs, but
package kghostview-trinity fails to find any package "gs" after installation,
