yes, i know it's kinda cool ;o) , but i want to disable
the light during suspend2ram. Ist this possible ?
I looked throught the kernel configuration but only
found the flag for the disk activity.

After that suspend to disk is working on my ibook.
There are still some sound issues, so i have to reload all modules
after resume, but i can live with that.

Anyway, my kernel is built with OSS emulation, but still I doesn't have
the "mic" input channel in the mixer ...
in alsamixer i can switch between mic and line by pressing
the up and down key.

i just got my ibook 12"g4 and installed debian on it.
Today i rsynced the latest 2.4.24-benh tree and compiled it
successfully. But when i now boot i can see only a few lines
of the new kernel (until the ide initialization) and then
the screen turns black.

is there a way to use a usb-flash-drive on ibook and x86.
I got my stick mounted under x86/kernel2.6 as /dev/sda1
When i now want to mount it on the ibook, i have to use
fdisk and initialize a new partition map like this:
dump: name /dev/sda len 8

i wonder if someone got the internal microphone working.
If i record from /dev/dsp i can hear loud random noise
and my voice very very quiet. When i increase the record level
(like gain) with PCM, the random noise rises, too.
