I like to use Debian Linux on a IBM Power7 (8233-E8B)
we have VIOS Version: 2.2.0.12-FP24 SP-02.
I am using debian-6.0.2.1-powerpc-DVD-1.iso
install without LVM (Guided)
But the system do not boot after the Installation.

is there a way to get multipath working with Debian 6 ?
If I define on both VIOS a VSCSI Device for the harddisk
I see 2 hardisks /dev/sda and /dev/sdb
What did I wrong ?

I use: Debian 6 PPC 64bit on IBM Power7 (debian-6.0.2.1-powerpc-DVD-1.iso).
I try some information from different people, but ipv6 is still active.
Is I possible to disable it at boot with yaboot in the /etc/yaboot.conf ?

1. Create a LPAR, make the mapping in LPAR in VIOS Profile(s)
2. Download the ISO an map or burn it, map the dvddrive to the LPAR

I tried with online and offline LPAR but I do not work.
Are there Agents or Kernel Modules ?
In the HMC I see that the OS is not detected.

i tryed to compile: powerpc-utils-1.2.16 on Debian 6.0.6 (IBM POWER6 / LPAR).
But it failed:
