After some digging i found the description of what needs to be patched. After
patching and recompiling it is even worse... WMaker gets signal 6 while
starting and thus is unusable =o(((

In similar situation i just edit debian/changelog prior to compiling and add
something like robert o jedi to package number. This way I know that this was
main package and it doesn't stop dselect/apt-get from upgrade'ing package
when newer version will pop up on mirrors.

small changes in Makefile and one in some header file and w3m compiles and
runs prefectly ok (i've been using it for days). I was meaning to write to
Debian maintainer why he is not using the included libgc but umm.. so far
haven't time to do that. I can put self-made debs som
3m-1.06-2 debian sources that compiles on PPC. I
didn;t test this on any other arch but i believe that this diff wouldn't
change a bit on them.

x27;s not my sollution.. It's PgSQL developers. They know about it and
this is sollution suggested by them. It's in the template file of upstream
sources. It wasn't used on Debian (because on Debian we use powerpc and RH
and other use ppc). It's there since 6.5.1 or so
