The only issue I have now is that if I don't unplug my usb stuff before
a sleep I get a kernel panic, and if I don't have anything plugged in
when I resume my usb ports don't work. (I have to do a cycle sleep with
the usb devices plugged in in order to get them to

I even installed the kernel-build, kernel-headers, kernel-patch and
kernel-tree packages for 2.6.8 and still no luck.
The kernel I am using at the moment is the default and while I realise
that I could compile my own and that this should work I can't understand
why it is isn

I'm not sure what the .tmp_versions is supposed to be, but I tried
creating a blank file with that name and the script baulked saying it
wasn't a directory like it expected. Any further ideas ???
