Hi all,
Ive got this problem:
I need ide-scsi to burn cd's but at the same time I'd like to watch
dvd's - so I need dma access.
How to do it? I've linked /dev/dvd to /dev/hdb but it didn't help.
Is there any quick fix for that?
I'm running ibook2 600Mhz combo
Than
a doesn't improve it at all.
Just wander if there is a way to get same playback quality like in mac
os?
Thanks.

I've got same problem, it has been happening like that for a while,
finally trackpad doesn't work at all. I have to use external usb mouse.
It happened right after 1 year - means no guarantee anymore.
Perhaps Macintosh fits self destructing trackpads?

Yes, can you remember any names? I presume Mac utility from CD won't cut
it?

Hello,
I need to compile some kernel modules for my stable kernel (ben10), but
my source tree is already 21-ben2, I want to ask what is best way to get
ben10 source? Is patching a 2.20 with ben10 is only way?
Thanks

I've got several problems with installing debian on Xserve (dual cpu).

I've build several kernel images (on my ibook) using my config's an
This is not a problem, all the kernels had right filesystems compiled

I'm doing it again, so I'll post more details when avialable.

Hi,
I have few weird things going on with stable debian.
First of all I have started to see a lot of processes that don't quit.
mostly exim process and modprobe
exim -bs
/sbin/modprobe -s -k -- net-pf-10
and so on repeated, after a while those processes slow down system
significantly.
I can get r
Ok found out what happened, weird...
seems like kernel compilation process has changed /dev/null into regular
file. fix for it is 'rm -f /dev/null; mknod -m 666 /dev/null c 1 3'
How could that happened?
