i had the same problems before, so i looked in the XF86Config file and there are two lines for me i could found in section pointer for the mouse: default was busmouse and /dev/mouse and i changed to busmouse and /dev/adbmouse and the xserver was running. thanks frank escher

what they do. I know this for sure: Out of ten damaged i- or powerbooks there where 8 with a blank new system on it but there where nothing with the drives, just different problems. Hi, on APUS 3000 Clone (PPC/ Performa 6400) it work fine. I do not know about your Installation, but with Debian 3.x for PPC you have to choose the fbdev-server, this is described well in the "howto installation" for PPC. Also the problem with the single button on your mouse. bye Fr
