Just a small question about IR on Kernel 2.4, i'm using IR to
synchronise a Palm with a PowerBook on a Debian system.
That work well on kernel 2.2, but no connexion/transfert
is possible with kernel 2.4. Nevertheless, some modules
are loaded in kernel (the same as in 2.2).

I have a problem with rlogin.
When i want to go on another machine, the $(HOME)/.rhosts file does not
work. And i must give my password.

When i'm working at office, i'm using my powerbook closed
with a external screen, mouse and keyboard.
When i'm starting pmud, the daemon immediatly stop my PB.
I'm think this is because the powerbook is close.
Does there are something to configure and how or
does pmud does not manage that ?

I bought the new PowerBook 800Mhz and i see that Linux detect only 667Mhz
(seen in /proc/cpuinfo and in
/proc/device-tree/cpus/PowerPC,G4/clock-frequency)
whereas MacOS X see 800Mhz.
Does someone see that before ?
