I have an iBook 900 Mhz on which I have recently installed Debian sid.
I have
a little trouble with the internal speakers : they do work, but the sound is
extremely low.
Changing the volume in aumix has no effect. I have read that the

The speakers actually produce a _really_ awfull sound at first, but after you
quickly mute/demute the sound from the keyboard key (F3), everything comes
back to normal life.

if you're using KDE on a non-us keyboard, the internationalisation
module overwrites the xmodmaps at KDE startup. I have a few
modifications myself to my own keyboard, so I have to lamely run a
