Hello,
A few days ago i installed Debian 5.0 on an iMac with a 500mhz G3 processor.
After installation the machine rebooted but once it had finished booting
there is nothing visible on the screen. During installation I had no problem
with the video. Any ideas of what could be the problem?
Thanks!

I have a PowerBook 12" w/ 867MHz, it was running OS X for quite some
time now. A couple of days ago, I decided to install Debian 5.0,

previous partition table, creating a swap-partition and a main partion
for Debian. Pre
The HorizSync frequency should be around 60 kHz, otherwise the monitor

HorizSync 59-61
VertRefresh 75-117
and resolution 1024x768.

Hello,
I have an iMac G5 (iSight). I was able to successfully install Debian
off an old etch netinstall CD a week or two ago. But the fans run like
crazy and X behaves a little poorly. I figured it might be better to
install lenny to get the newer kernel, etc., but lenny won't install.
