PB G4, sound and speaker beeps

Hi! I have a problem with my sound on my PB G4 system. Or rather, a quite specific one, because sound works, I can listen to music and stuff. Only, I can't get any of those pcspkr beeps, like printf "\a". I have tried to load the pcspkr module, tried with several others, like snd-powe
