Thanks for the advice. For the time, I am travelling all summer and will be without my apple rescue disk for another month or so. Is there another way to "bless" the Apple partition? In the mean time, I'm trying to get my synaptics touchpad detected and the 2.6.15-1-powerpc kernel booted. St

Can somebody who's been through this please help me. I've tried everything to get this thing to work right. I've got Debian installed, and can get bootX to boot linux, but I need a vmlinux image that will load all the appropriate modules and such, and I can't figure out where to find one online
