I am not getting my sound card to work on my
TiBook running debian. I browsed the internet
and everywhere the following solution was
suggested:
create /etc/modutils/sound
with following content:
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-slot-0 dmasound_pmac
alias char-major-1

Some time ago someone posted a patch to turn the kernel option to have the led
as a hdd light into a /sys variable.
Is there any plans to get the patch into the mainline kernel?
