I recently got X Windows to actually start, after
trying numerous configurations. However, the screen
blinks furiously, causing enourmous eyestrain. I have
a 15" Powerbook 867 Mhz. I'm not sure what else I can
do as far as XF86Config-4 goes. Any ideas?

up the xserver. I installed and been trying to use the dri-trunk and
the ati driver. See what the screen output for using dri and trunk. NOw
I can't even start my xserver even with the fbdev driver. The ati at
least starts up
