Flashing screen

I recently got X Windows to actually start, after trying numerous configurations. However, the screen blinks furiously, causing enourmous eyestrain. I have a 15" Powerbook 867 Mhz. I'm not sure what else I can do as far as XF86Config-4 goes. Any ideas? ___

HAL & sleep on iBook G3

xkbmap missing layouts for macintosh?

hello list, in XF86-Config i have defined XkbModel macintosh, but in /etc/X11/xkb/symbols/macintosh/ i'm missing some layouts like dvorak or mk (macedonian cyrillic). i can get dvorak by setxkmap us+dvorak, but for mk i had to copy from ../symbols/pc/, it seems to work but can anybody explain me

I have been trying to get dri working on my box and really have messed up the xserver. I installed and been trying to use the dri-trunk and the ati driver. See what the screen output for using dri and trunk. NOw I can't even start my xserver even with the fbdev driver. The ati at least starts up
