Hello folks, I have a little problem with my woody based iBook2. When I run X (Xfree 4.1.0) with the DRI modules and I go in PMU suspend mode after coming back in normal mode my X session freezes and all the OS hangs, I can only reboot. I run the 2.4.20-pre7-ben0 kernel on my laptop. Anyone is e

Thanks Chris I'd accessed the error log (Left Alt F3) in the meantime. The log reveals that It CAN find rescue.bin inside images-2.88 as required , but then cant find the drivers.tgz file. I checked back in MacOS and it IS there (7.2Meg big) under new-powermac where it should be. How odd!

Thanks for your reply. I get the error even as root. So audio group doesn't seem to be the problem. dmesg reveals that sound module is not loaded. But I still get the same error after "insmod sound" and confirming with "lsmod" that sound.o is loaded. I'm new at this and am pretty confused.
