I recently did a network install of Woody on a Ti PowerBook G4 --
congrats to the install team, it was slick and easy.
I am trying to setup a modem to use when a dialup is the only available
connection to the 'net. Wvdial is configured similar to my i386 box and
seems to work OK up to a point
Forgive what may be a dumb question, but...
How do I get the trackpad to perform a right-click?
The OS X method of Option+Click doesn't translate to Debian ;(

mac-fdisk, included in the installer. It's actually pdisk in disguise.

Use a vsync range from 35 to 75 for the panel in XF86Config-4.

And what about the rumour about binary-only modules? I'd
appreciate anything about the modem, even if it is a
binary-only module.

It seems as if there will be support in the future. The Ibook2 has a
Conexant HCF USB modem. As stated on their website, Conexant is
planning to release drivers this summer.

Hi,
I bought the new PowerBook 800Mhz and i see that Linux detect only 667Mhz

Does someone see that before ?

My friend Tommaso, a windows user, has an ADSL. He dowloads the isos for me.
Matteo, you ought to consider two things you maybe don't know yet:
a) debian ppc is in strongly development status, expecially for the
newest hw. This

cdimage.debian.org has a jigdo-area directory. The ppc one is of 1st July.
I will try in the next days.

Does it work? I've tried every daemon that
looked like a client: dhcpcd, pump, dhclient...
This is with debian-testing, ppc, and a 2.4.16 kernel.
I even know the interface works.
I have a working client on a Red Hat x86 system.
It reports this:
