Install on a E20

Help! I'm struggling with a 7024/E20, which doesn't want to boot either off floppies or cdrom. I put the boot order to Floppy/CDROM/NET, when I put some kind of disks into the drive, either it freezes or it just get back to "startup prompt". Any idea ? Have I to upgrade my firmware ? Jean-Franc

benh's kernel and partition not mounted

I've installed benh's kernel (retrieved last Friday), but the /home partition isn't mounted. Where does the problem come from? Normally, with the kernel I generally use, I have: ay:~> df -T FilesystemType 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/hda4 ext3 3527712 1733032
