I have just added this to the -lib- readme of my experimental tarballs:
*WARNING*
Badly written software may not work with these libraries, specifically Motif
makes assumptions about Xt internals which aren't correct anymore. If you
experience problems, try downgrading to older libraries.

Hi,
I have a PowerMac 6500/250 that I would like to put Debian on. I made a
floppy of the hfs boot disk containing the miboot loader from 06072000 and
attempted to boot my 6500. The floppy drive attempts to read the disk but

Hello,
I am new to this list so please excuse me if I've asked the same question
that's been asked many times before. Specifically, I would like to know if
anyone has successfully installed Linux on an IBM RS/6000 43P-140 system? I
have searched the Linux web sites for information regarding Linu
Hi,
I've read on Benjamin Herrenschmidt's page that yaboot works with
netboot. However, there was no further information. I'm familiar with
bootd and tftp, but would like to know how to set them up in this case.
I have a PowerBook Pismo.
Thanks in advance,
Matthias

- Setup your bootp server so that it tells OF to load yaboo
Hey,
I've got debian linux running wonderfully on a G4 - eventually I'll
write up a howto and send it on, as I didn't find any documents that
covered the G4 entirely, but anyways.
I convinced the boss to get a cinema display for SIGGRAPH, which is
really cool, but I can't get the standard AT
