I see that XFree86 4.0 has been released. Does this release include accel for the Mach64 chips in the Biege G3's? Also 4.0 will be packaged for woody right? or will it be packaged for potato too? If it is only going to be packaged for woody, what will be the upgrade procedure for getting it work

X 4 will certainly not be packaged for potato, not this late in the game. As said, you'll need to upgrade to woody to get it - it may be possible to just get the woody X packages by hand, but that depends on what their dependencies are. Bear in mind that at the present moment woody does not reall
