Yeah, I vaguely remember that "-t auto" didn't work. My laptop has file system
type "msdos" in its type field for the
nt use ide-scsi emulation?

I'm running 2.4.20-ben8 on an iBook2.2. I recently tried to use the usb port
to get at pictures on my Olympus D-100 camera.
I've installed hotplug, but can't seem to mount the camera.
When I jack the camera into the port, dmesg looks like this:
