this might seem like warming up an old topic, but i spent half a day now
and need some advice:
upgraded to 2.6.13 from kernel.org, discovered that devsd is no more,
installed udev, and don't get my cdrom drive to appear in /dev/
This is on a pismo, while everything was fine with
