I had a quit simmilar issue on same 7300-8500 OldWorld.
This arise when tried a installation "after" an "reboot" from MacOS.
This "reboot" put the mac-box in ro - read-only - statement,
but the d-i work correct, this mean there are no any errors message ,
and so, after reboot in new d
I'm running Sarge on a Mac Mini. Out of the blue last week, the
computer locked up. It didn't seem to be able to access the hard
disk. I couldn't read manpages because it couldn't make a file in
/tmp. I could run reboot/shutdown/halt because it didn't seem to find
