Yes, the issue was I needed to install pavucontrol to get it going.

Jessie on it. Now in MATE to get sound to work I added the snd-aoa-i2sbus
module and set the PCM channel to 80 and all was well. However I did the
exact same thing in Jessie and I am getting no sound. I added the other
