is the on top
window the animation is slow, as soon it a background window it runs very very
very very fast :)

xfree 4.1.0-1
Try a newer patch of xfree. It used to work perfectly for me since
xfree-4.1.0-14.
I'll attach my XF86Config-4. I hope it may help

In the log file everythings seems to work fine (no errors) glxinfo told me that
DRI is enabled, But as i start glxgears the system freeze.
