You can move the pointer with the keyboard under XFree86.

I've just installed the last debian distrib on a 7200/90, and I can't
get the mouse moving.
I have a standard mac mouse connected to the keyboard. It works fine
under MacOS.
I've used the XF86Config.FBdev proposed by the installer. It has created
a link from /dev/mouse to /dev/adbmouse w
