Is it possible to convert a Kubuntu PPC install to a vanilla Debian PPC
by changing the APT sources? Would there be problems with the system
scripts? Any HowTo's available? I have a G5 tower 1.8 G Hz. single

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows of where I might be able to install Gnome 2.12
via the normal apt-get process? I'm running a PowerBook Pismo (G3 @ 400 MHz)
and would very much like to install 2.12 before Debian finally gets around to
putting it in unstable (or otherwise.)

being removing stuff is a well-known behavior currently in unstable

Hi All
Once upon, IIRC, there were times when apt did very intelligently
automatically what I have to do now myself: When I tried to install a
package, apt-get/aptitude calculated the dependencies on other
packages for the one I wanted to install and then installed the whole
bunch of packages
