Sound issue on wake

Hello all, I have a titanium powerbook g4 667, and i'm using bitkeeper 2.4.21-pre2. Sometimes when i open it up from sleep the sound goes crazy. It sort of sounds like an high frequency pitch or something. I wanted to know if anybody else is experiencing this and how to fix it... thank you -
