I am sending the tarball of /proc/device-tree. The kernel configuration is also there. Please tell me how to get the sound working. Also one thing i noticed that if AC3 files are played from HDD then there is no problem but from DVD vlc creates chaos. The DVD is written as a data DVD. Regarding CVS

with referrence to discussion on the debian mailing list http://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2005/07/msg00402.html i have found one solution for sound. The solution is to use USB speakers. It plays mp3 and other files pretty well but none of the players have been able to play AC3(A52 Audio) form
