The information you provided is very handy, especially for Linux
novices such as myself.
However, I think you must have missed out some little detail in
your notes, because my Debian still doesn't boot successfully.
I started writing a howto on installing and running Debian on G3
PowerBooks. It's located at http://scw.ucsd.edu/~bigj/pbg3linux.html and
is in need of reviews. It summarizes many emails and faqs and
faq-o-matics but it needs to be re-read by people. This might help this
