Problems starting X-Window

Hi,   I've just installed Debian on my PowerPC (Motorola machine. Used to run NT and later AIX - no Mac). I can't start X, though. It says /dev/fb0 - no such device. The device definition is there (Along with fb0current and fb0autodetect - up to fb7) and I tried them all. I tried fbset, but it
