When the roll call for port maintainers came up a few months down, I
put my name down as a part-time powerpc person. However, I've had
to recuse myself for various reasons--I won't be able to commit to
doing any powerpc porting or port-related work for jessie. If

Besides the open license issue, are there any objections from port maintainers
to make GCC-4.4 the default?
As a first step that would be a change of the default for C, C++, ObjC, ObjC++
and Fortran.

In the Etch page it was called Developers and I got lured into adding
myself under the impression that it was about DDs, not about port
maintainers. I don't feel I got the required insight into the
architecture to be called that, sorry.
