It's possible that paulus fixes for pccard resource allocation aren't
in Linus tree nor bk. I'll ask him. They are in my tree.

Indeed, this works for me. I also had to change wvlan_cs to
orinoco_cs, and ide_cs to ide-cs in /etc/pcmcia/config. I wonder what
a nice way to have this work for bot

Ok, so here's my current setup:
kernel 2.4.10-pre4 (linuxppc_2_4 bk pull from yesterday)
pcmcia built from the debian source package
I enabled the kernel PCMCIA support, and have modified
/etc/default/pcmcia:
